uam design process
Much like actual places, well-built virtual places require thorough communication, smart planning, creative thinking, and wise resource management. Our craft process is designed with these factors in mind and with one goal in mind: to put the place that's in your head on the web as quickly and efficiently as possible. Not only will we make it smart, but we'll make it look good too.
Preliminary Phase
- Client submits the website design questionnaire
- UAM determines the scope of the project (sometimes questionnaire follow-up is necessary for this stage)
- UAM provides an estimate for completing the project with a +/- guarantee of 15%
- Client and UAM sign a contract
- Client submits a down payment for project commencement
Website Design Phase
- Client submits the page content, photos, and logo images that will be used on the website
- UAM creates a mock-up design of the website for the client to approve (the mock-up is basically an image of what the website will look like)
- Client offers feedback
- UAM makes mock-up adjustments, if necessary
- Client approves the final mock-up design
Website Construction Phase
- UAM breaks ground on the world wide web, using HTML, Flash, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, SEO, Google Analytics, and good design to make the client’s place a virtual reality
- After completing the homepage, UAM updates the client on the progress made
- Upon completion of the website, the client gives UAM the go-ahead to open the new place for visitors
